Newsday: Oprah’s first ever appearance on the ‘Late Show’ earns Letterman gigantic ratings

NYT: Military Admits Planting News in Iraq

The military acknowledged Friday in a briefing for a ranking Senate Republican that news articles written by American troops had been placed as paid advertisements in the Iraqi news media and not always properly identified.

This NYT article must have been paid for by the Democratic party.

Comments (1) to “jumbo ratings, lies”

  1. Great, Oprah is doing late night “comedy” to goose Dave’s ratings. Anyone want to start a pool on who they get for Letterman over the holidays?

And, Rachel Ray is getting a non-cooking show: http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/CA6288701.html?display=Breaking News&referral=SUPP

Instead of the obvious “when will she get an Oprah-esque network of her own - anyone want to start a pool on when the tabloids start to talk about Rachel’s “weight problems”?

…hmmm, anyone know a website where I can start pools on “insert any unlikely occurrence here”?
