In France it's illegal to display depictions of Nazi symbols. Since the images, stored on computers in the US and protected by American free speech laws, could be seen by people in France the French government either wanted them all removed or for Yahoo to pay a fine of 100,000 francs per day to them for violating French law. ... one man's apple is another's orange.
