Oh man.. if I lived in Britain.. I would be in trouble. Have you ever seen me after three sheets to the wind? (Rhetorical question)

On a serious side, though.. this raises some serious questions about personal freedoms and what people find tasteful or not. Its like the term "obscene" here in the States. One person's obscene is another's normal.

I've seen you before three sheets to the wind too. In Britain, that alone would probably get you into plenty of hot soup (or porridge).

I had forgotten about all the recent obscenity and "community standards" issues. My favorite is still the series of lawsuits and unenforceable criminal penalties between France and Yahoo over whether Yahoo could display images of Nazi symbols and items on its California, United States servers. In France it's illegal to display depictions of Nazi symbols. Since the images, stored on computers in the US and protected by American free speech laws, could be seen by people in France the French government either wanted them all removed or for Yahoo to pay a fine of 100,000 francs per day to them for violating French law.

"Please DO NOT FEED THE EDITORS"

Hand-feeding wild editors can lead to lazy
and sloth-like writing habits. Hand-fed
editors may also lack creativity and be
unable to write funny jokes.

Thanks Robert; Charely and I will celebrate as soon as we can track down the other writers and make them buy the beers.

You're right on that 2nd count too. You didn't subscribe to National Geographic. If you'd like to subscribe here we'd be happy to take $9.95, please PayPal it to Charley's email address.
