status report
What I’ve been doing lately is reading a lot about TV and video games. I’ve also been trying to watch a lot of TV and play a lot of video games. This may sound like all lollipops and sunshine to you, but I promise it can feel like work much of the time.
Just kidding: It’s freaking great. Things are going well. I like to complain about work but then I remember that I’m paying the bills doing exactly what I moved to L.A. to do: stealing batteries from parked cars and selling them to mom-and-pop mechanic shops. Who says college is a waste?
I know I keep promising things, like more frequent updates — I know, not because I have a good memory or like to “keep” my promises, but because I read back a few posts and saw. I just want to say that I promise it’s coming. Most of you are here by chance and won’t come back anyway, but I know there are a few of you who come back now and then to see what the hell is going on. This message is for you! And for everyone else, a picture I took to let you know that I’m still sensitive:

The only thing that picture is missing is some two people holding hands in the surf. And Rambo. This picture is also missing Rambo. Also, it is missing a monster truck crushing the sun, and a giant squid tearing apart a cruise ship. It is missing a giant robot tearing a whole in the sky, and drinking the ocean so he can finish his trip to Algorath VI.
Then I’d like that picture.

Robert, I’m having trouble picturing it. I think you should draw it for us.

There is no way any artist in this world could draw such an awesome scene. It would have to be conjured.
